Es gibt diese Schweizer Band schon ewig. Sie sind  toll. Und sehen gut aus. Sie lieben was sie tun. Fast immer. Den Konzertbesuchern geht’s genauso. Sie rocken und rollen, kämpfen und leiden, lachen und  weinen. Auto fahren sie auch und das nicht zu  knapp. Den Erdball bestimmt schon ein Dutzend Mal umrundet. Belgien, Deutschland, Dänemark, England, Frankreich, Italien, Japan, Kanada, Oesterreich, Spanien, Tschechien, Slowenien, Ungarn, Finnland, Schweden, Norwegen, Holland und die USA wurden betourt. Macht rund 400 Shows (so heisst das) in den letzten drei Jahren. Begeisterung allenthalben.

Tausende Platten verkauft und Tausende Bands an die Wand gerockt. Bad Religion, No Means No, Rancid, Snuff, No FX, Slackers, Toasters, Demented Are Go... Aber immer noch hungrig. Trotz Rückenschmerzen, weil Fussböden Scheisse sind zum Pennen, zu viel Kaffee und Zigaretten. Pleite sind sie auch ständig. Doch die nächste Platte wird bestimmt grossartig. Punk, Rockabilly, tolle Songs, coole Rhythmen, Pop aber geil. Es geht vorwärts.

The Peacocks, from Switzerland, are great at what they do. They’re cool. They look good. And they love what they do - well, almost always. They rock and roll, struggle and suffer, laugh and cry. They’re on the run and on the road. They’ve been around the globe a couple of times: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Holland, Spain, Slovenia, Hungary, UK, Czech Republic, USA, Canada and Japan. They’ve played over 400 shows in the last three years. The Peacocks have sold thousands of albums in their 16-year career on their European label, Leech Records, Household Name Records, Crazy Love and Elmo Records; Asian Man Records, Jump Up and Hairball 8 Records in North America; and TV Freak in Japan.

They’ve kicked everybody’s ass from Bad Religion, No Means No, Rancid, No FX, Toasters, Demented Are Go...But they’re still hungry – even though their backs hurt cause floors suck to sleep on. So, after consuming too much coffee and cigarettes, they continue
to tour like crazy and win over hearts everywhere with their explosive and driving sound. Punk, Rockabilly, great songs, cool beats, pop but wicked. They’re moving on and up. Probably one day with nice shirts. And with a new old van. Pedal to the metal!
