Moes Anthill ist eine Band, die sich stets im Wandel befindet. Die Songs ihres neuen Albums „Quitter", deren Einflüsse einer tiefen Frische entspringen und von Robert Plant bis Fleet Foxes mit allen Wassern gewaschen sind, gehen schmerzhaft unter die Haut. Mit spannendem Songwriting und ihrer Synergie beschreiten sie neue Pfade zwischen Neo-Folk, Americana und Pop. Ein akustisches, kreatives Feuerwerk aus Gitarren, Banjos und Stimmen vom Barden aus Altdorf. Wer sie im Februar auf der BScene erlebt hat (als sog. Das Vorprogramm gestaltet niemand geringeres als Hank Shizzoe, der mit „Steady As He Goes“ eigene Songs mit Gitarren und Gesang zum Besten gibt. Das Magazin Rolling Stone stellt klar, „dass er der beste Roots-Rock-Songwriter und Gitarrenstilist ist, der nicht aus den USA kommt. Und dass er selbst dann noch zumindest einer der besten wäre, käme er aus dem gelobten Land.”

Dieses Doppelpack verspricht Besonderes, zeichnet doch Hank Shizzoe höchstpersönlich - und nicht zufällig - für die Produktion des aktuellen Albums von Moes Anthill, „Quitter", verantwortlich.

Moe‘s Anthill is an ever changing band. The songs of their new album “Quitter”, whose influences rise from a deep freshness and know every trick in the books from Robert Plant to Fleet Foxes, painfully get under your skin. No one else than Hank Shizzoe will be the opener, presenting his latest album „Steady As He Goes“: original songs with guitars and voice. The magazine Rolling Stone points out „that he is the best roots-rock songwriter and guitar player who’s not hailing from the US. And that he would still be one of the best even if he did come from the Promised Land.”

This double act promises something special. Even more so as Hank Shizzoe himself – and by no coincidence – is responsible for the production of Moe's Anthill’s „Quitter".
