Der blind geborene Musiker erklärt, dass der Titelsong If You Really Want sich gegen das Nein ausspricht. „Als Blinder haben mir Leute immer wieder gesagt, das und jenes seien unmöglich. Dieser Song ist eine mantrische Hymne an die Möglichkeit.“

The musician, blind since birth, explains that the title track of If You Really Want is “about flying in the face of no. As a blind person, people were always telling me that this or that was impossible. So this song is a kind of a mantra for me. It's an anthem to possibility.”

Today, the wildly inventive Raul Midón commands the Atlantis stage all by himself, often playing percussion and guitar while he sings – another of his seemingly endless talents.
